Course Status
Project Management is the practice of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria within specific time and budget (PMI, 2020).
Consequently, geotechnical engineering is a dynamic, exciting and evolving discipline (Barton, 2006). In this lecture, the author examines geotechnical engineering topics related to the management of geotechnical data and processes; training of geotechnical engineers in the private and public sectors; the future of geotechnical engineering education; and the importance of geotechnical engineering (Jaska, Ho & Woodward, 2009).

Engineering professional with BSc degree in Geology, Post Graduate Diploma In Engineering Geology from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria; MSc degree in Project Management from the University of Liverpool, UK and currently pursuing a PhD in Operations Management at the University of South Africa (UNISA), Pretoria, South Africa. He is successful in construction project management, contract management using - FIDIC & NEC 4th edition conditions of contract, geotechnical engineering & front-end engineering design (FEED).
